605 Learn To Drive is based in Tea and extends its services to the Sioux Falls area and surrounding communities.
DRIVER EDUCATION CLASS CURRICULUM
We make the driver education class fun with hands-on activities, engaging videos, and small class sizes. The State of South Dakota requires every driver education student to complete 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of driving instruction with an 80% or higher grade. Students must be at least 14 on the first day of class.
BEHIND-THE-WHEEL CURRICULUM
Behind-the-wheel training is taught in a safe and encouraging atmosphere. Our behind-the-wheel curriculum is focused on helping your student bring all their classroom knowledge together and tie it into developing safe driving skills, such as:
- Defensive Driving
- Parking Maneuvers
- Correct Lane Changes
- Right of Way
- Moving and Steering the Vehicle
